Saturday Weigh In

I am finally doing something right because I am down 2 lbs this week.  I'm not quite sure how it is different then what I had been doing a few weeks ago when my body sat at 161 for 2 weeks.

Luckily, my schedule at work is great for eating every 2 hours.  I eat once I get to work, then I have a conference 3rd period(so 2 hours later) and then lunch 6th period(another 2 hours later).  Since I have been so busy getting things done during that time, I just eat a small meal and work work work.  Therefore, I don't overeat and that really helps my classes run smoother because I am not stuffed.  It is amazing how much easier it is to talk and teach all period when you aren't pregnant or have as much fat weighing you down.  I can breathe!

Also, this week my dinners have SUCKED so I have been pretty much eating my new favorite oatmeal...Yum.  An easy food that I can easily calculate calories.

How is your week going?  I hope everyone enjoys their long weekend.  Don't over indulge, unless you are Megan an plan on burning 800 calories a day.  I still don't know how you do it.  One day I will grow up to be like you.

  1. ha ha! Yay on the weight loss, that is freaking awesome! One day I will get you in the gym with me :) I already have been think about a bootcamp over by your's pretty cheap too!

    alright sweets... are we approaching this clean eating thing differently? i'm not losing as much or as fast as you, but i'm not using "disgusting" to describe the food. what are you eating that's so awful? have you visited her stuff looks yum! i tried the sloppy joes for the kiddos and they enjoyed it. that might be a lie. they played with it. but then again, it might have been the bread i served it on;) bread is DEFINITELY NOT the same. and we know how i love me some bread.

    oh, and i do LOVE the oatmeal. decided that'll be my sweet tooth fix at work after lunch fo sho! thanks for reminding me of the great idea!

  3. I have tried 3 meals from the gracious pantry that were gross but the pics did look good. I have enjoyed all the other meals. Have you actually calculated calories so.ce you started clean eating? You may be surprised at your calorie intake with all the nuts and nut butters and honey...they add up quick. I know they say you don't have to but I do to keep it at a reasonable number and you can only lose if your total in is less than your total burned. I stay between 1300 to 1500 a day. Try it out.

  4. i totally agree - and that dawned on me the other day actually. not that i had made the conscious decision to stop counting calories, but i realized i hadn't been. i have been so concerned about the ingredients that i forgot that whole part=) and when chancellor is so kind to "help me out" he likes to double the portion;) he's learning.

    what do you think of my new site? i think it's perty. cause i'm a narcissist=))
