28 Weeks Baby No.3

how far along? 28 weeks

how are you measuring? Hope to find out in a few days at my appointment.

size of baby?  about the size of a small cabbage, 17 inches and 2.9 lbs

heartbeat? about 150 bpm...strong and healthy

sleep? Much better this past week.  Chad and I both have slept so I'm a happy momma.

Gender predictions? It's a girl!  We still don't have a name and probably won't say until the birth just like we did with the other two.

What I'm feeling:  Definitely starting to feel her every couple hours.  I love the reassurance that she is growing and thriving in my belly.

How are the other kiddos?  Lucas keeps kissing my belly and talking about how big the baby is getting.  Kaylee has been in trouble lately so she has been more concerned about her own well being than anything else.

total weight gain/loss? I have been much better about eating healthier.  I meal prepped yesterday and everything is clean and yummy.  I'm hoping I can lose a few "extra" pounds this week as I have started to have some swelling and I need to get it back down.  I'm planning to hit the gym everyday to help work out some of that water.

27 Weeks Baby No. 3

how far along? 27 weeks

how are you measuring? I hope to find out next week at our 28 week appt.

size of baby?  about the size of a head of cauliflower, 16 inches and 2.5 lbs

heartbeat? about 150 bpm...strong and healthy

sleep? Man, between Chad and I someone is always moving in our bed.  Chad has woken up the past few mornings with really red eyes and looking exhausted.  I keep tossing and turning which is horrible because every time I have to move it hurts.  My tummy and vagina are in pain when I move.  I'm sure that is too much info, but it is the truth.  On days that I walk/go to the gym it is way worse.  Makes me want to stop working out, but I have already gained soooooo much weight.

Gender predictions? It's a girl!  We still don't have a name and probably won't say until the birth just like we did with the other two.

What I'm feeling:  She is really starting to move around quite a bit.  It is awesome to have the reassuring rolling and kicks in my belly.

How are the other kiddos?  Lucas is now in denial that there is a baby.  He said, "I only love big sisters and NOT little sisters."  I said well there is a little sister in my belly.  He said, "No, its just a big belly."  Oh, you gotta love him.  He is going to be in for a big shock when this baby arrives.  He is my momma's boy and I have a feeling he isn't going to be happy.  On the other hand, Kaylee is super excited.

total weight gain/loss? I have been much better about eating healthier, but still not great as my husband continues to make or buy sweets and bring them home.  They are my downfall.

26 Weeks Baby No. 3

how far along? 26 weeks

how are you measuring? I have no idea, but it feels ginormous.

size of baby?  about albs and 9 inches

heartbeat? about 150 bpm...strong and healthy

sleep? I've been sleeping pretty well lately.  I still wake up and have to roll to my sides, but overall it has decreased a little.  I've been having some crazy dreams lately.  Wow!  Last night I dreamt that I was put on bed rest at 33 weeks.  For those that don't know, I was put on bed rest with both of my other babies at 36 weeks due to high blood pressure.  Lucas was really bad and I was induced at 37 weeks and Kaylee at 38 weeks.  I really want to make it to my due date, but I'm so over work right now...

Lucas must kiss my belly at night and when I drop him off in the morning at school and Kaylee came up to my belly last night and just rubbed it.  They are so cute.

total weight gain/loss? I've really been trying to get a little of the excess holiday weight back off, but it is not working.  Ugh...my doctor is for sure going to say something at my next appointment.  I have NO willpower!
