31 Weeks Baby No.3

how far along? 31 weeks

how are you measuring? This is a funny question to me because it is never correct.  Last Tuesday, I was measuring 34 weeks and then on Friday I was measuring 36 weeks.  Really?  How is that even possible?  I think it is inaccurate and just depends on where the baby is and how they are positioned.  

size of baby?  On Friday, she was 3 lbs. 11 oz and about 15.8 inches long.  

heartbeat? about 144 bpm...strong and healthy

sleep? I feel like I'm never going to sleep again.  I toss and turn all night. Yet, I don't have to get up and go to the restroom so I guess that is a plus.  

Gender predictions? It's a girl!  We still don't have a name and probably won't say until the birth just like we did with the other two.  

What I'm feeling:  Tired and I don't want to work anymore.  This feeling has set in much earlier than it did with the other two and I'm not sure why because I have some great students this year.  I think it is just because I haven't slept great and I feel like I haven't been able to spend much time with Kaylee and Lucas.   

How are the other kiddos?  They are good.  Lucas has had a non-stop cough for the past few days.  Poor guy is constantly coughing.  It is just now starting to produce junk.  I hear him all night, so I know he isn't sleeping well either.  

total weight gain/loss? This has been horrible lately.  We ate out several times this weekend and last week.  Kaylee's 5th birthday is this Tuesday so we took her out yesterday and then there was Valentines and just the plain lack of wanting to cook.  Oh and all of the sweets...

30 Weeks No. 3

how far along? 30 weeks

how are you measuring? I am measuring 34 weeks; therefore, I have to go back to the doctor on Friday for a BP recheck and a sonogram to see how the baby and my fluid levels are measuring.  My BP was elevated this weekend and at my doctor appointment today so hopefully it settles down before Friday.  30 weeks is WAY too early for bed rest.  

size of baby?  The size of a head of lettuce at about 3.2lbs and 18 inches long.  

heartbeat? about 142 bpm...strong and healthy

sleep? Sleep has been okay this week.  Lots of tossing and turning.  Last night I had a shooting pain from my butt cheek down my leg, but luckily it was mostly gone this morning.  I've also had some hot flashes at night and it makes it hard to go back to sleep.  

Gender predictions? It's a girl!  We still don't have a name and probably won't say until the birth just like we did with the other two.  

What I'm feeling:  I've been a little freaked out for the past couple days because she has really slowed with her movements.  I don't know if she is in a different position and I just can't feel it as much or if something else is going on.  I'm monitoring it closely as my BP was up and down all day yesterday as well.  

How are the other kiddos?  They went with their daddy this weekend to Austin to visit their great-grandmother because she isn't doing well and I missed them so much.  It was really odd to be alone for a couple days.  I even cried when Chad face timed me Saturday morning.  Can we say emotional?  I don't know what I would do without them.  

total weight gain/loss? I've gained about 2 lbs just this week!  Yikes...I wonder if it has anything to do with the BP issues also.  My doctor will have lots to discuss at my appointment if it doesn't get better soon.  

29 Weeks No.3

how far along? 29 weeks

how are you measuring? I saw another doctor last week because my doctor was chosen for jury duty.  She measured my belly, but didn't say anything.  I'm going to ask my doctor next week at my 30 week appointment.  

size of baby?  about 17 inches and 3 lbs

heartbeat? about 142 bpm...strong and healthy

sleep? Sleep has been pretty good.  I'm still waking up around 4am without my alarm, but that works because I have to get up that early to go to the gym before work.  I can't wait and go after work because I get too tired and I won't force myself.  I go to sleep really early though, so I am still getting 7-8 hours of sleep.

What I'm feeling:  Lots of movement.  She is pretty consistent.  

How are the other kiddos?  They are good.  Kaylee has been in trouble at school, but I think her teachers are being too strict considering the kids are 4 years old.  They expect them to work all day and not laugh or play around at all.  

total weight gain/loss? Eating is still going well.  I swear Chad just wants me to pack on the pounds.  As soon as the sweets are gone, he comes home with more.  I have asked him to stop, but he just blames my self control.  He is right, but dang help a momma out.
